New rig.

I found right I’ve wanted for a long time. I found a copy of a Al Furstnow skeleton rig. They were originally made in Miles City Montana back in the 1890’s. This one was made by El Paso saddlery marketed by Texas Jack/Cimarron arms. It really holds the revolver. I love this thing! It was an eBay find. I’m thrilled.

I like that for a hunting rig, as we discussed.

Wouldn’t mind having one for my 4-5” revolvers.

That looks pretty neat. Is it robust enough to wear hunting?

So I think it’s kinda neat, but what’s the advantage?

It takes a bit of doing to pull it out. Retention is great.

You can pull the revolver straight out only lifting it out of the muzzle socket. It’s really kinda handy. Think super old version of the bianchi X100 shoulder holster. And looking really bad ass doesnt hurt!
