Great deal, I just have a bunch already! That said there’s about 25-30 bucks work of primers there…..

Great price for primed brass.....too bad it's not for anything useful.

That’s what I thought. What a waste of good primers.

😎

True. It could be for a 25-69 Remchester lever bolt action semi auto from 1879. THAT would be useful. 🤣

Yeah the primers sold me. I’m cheap, and can make .300 brass from an unending supply of .223. But I hate making brass. And I’m running low on primers. This is a win-win. That’s a lifetime supply
of brass.

Not concerned about the mixed head stamps, this is mainly
for farting around loads. The unknown primer is annoying, but not horribly. For any picky loads, I’ll use known components.

Thanks for the heads up!

You're welcome.

A member on another forum posted about it.
At that price, you could sort the 2 headstamps and probably sell them for $25+/100

Every cartridge has a use, even if it’s just to put holes in paper, ring steel or a smile on your face.

The 300 BO has its place. It is the perfect platform to get rid of all the various 30 cal bullets I don't have any other use for

My cases arrived today. The look great and appear to be roughly 50-50 JAG and Ammo inc

I'm just AR enough that I'll probably sort them before I start loading them.
I'm curious how differently they'll perform with the same load

I wonder if each respective company makes their own brass or if it’s made by Starline?

Quick search suggests that Olin acquired Ammo Inc assets that included the facility Ammo Inc was producing brass in, which was previously acquired by Ammo Inc from Jagemann Munition Components. So it would appear as though the Ammo Inc and Jag brass are now Winchester brass. Very limited experience with Ammo Inc or Jag brass, but have been less than impressed with Winchester brass for at least the past decade.
