I'm working on another bolt action shotgun, a Mossberg 185D. It was a real rust bucket and the stock was shattered. The bore is pristine and I have a stock on order. I thought it had an adjustable poly choke but I was wrong, it has a modified screw on choke. This model came with three chokes IC, modified and full. When I was researching this piece I found Winchester is credited with the first replaceable chokes which isn't true, they were the first with chokes that screw into the barrel but Mossberg beat them to the line. Removable chokes were invented in 1866 but weren't in common use until 1948-1952.
