Anyone know anything about the area? Kiddo is considering going there for college, and we may be going there for a visit this weekend. I was there once for a week about 30 years ago, and all I remember is is heat, humidity and mosquitoes.

It’s full of people. And traffic.

It’s Arkansas. Nuff said.

No direct knowledge but my nephew has lived in Arkansas for decades. If you want I’ll get you in touch. He’s a great guy and knows the state very well.

I have family that lives north of Texarkana. Familiar with that area, but I know absolutely nothing about the NW corner

My nephew lives in Little Rock but he was the Regional Director for a major cell phone company's retail business so he traveled a lot all over the state. The offer stands. I owe him a call anyway, it's been a while since I caught up with him.

I am very familiar with the area. I used to run rivers and fish the lakes and rivers in NW AR. Walmart headquarters and supporting vendors are a large part of that area. Cities are Bentonville, Springdale, Rogers, Fayetteville that are clustered together. If you like the outside fishing (lakes and trout rivers), hunting, boating you will enjoy that area.
