Went to the bank to deposit some money and look into maybe buying out my lease on my Gladiator….
And on a whim I took a detour. My wife says I’m not allowed to go out unsupervised anymore…. She’s in my garage now.

In my defense the service department said I needed an oil change and the 36,000 mile service was due. I didn’t feel like waiting…

You line those rubber toys across your dash like all the other gay jeep owners do?

Nope….. I’ve gotten a few and it’s kind of nice (cute?) to have someone else “like” your Jeep but I put them in my cup holder and I pass them along to someone else as soon as I have a chance.

So, you’re not out of the closet yet. I get it. No worries.

I’ll let you know when I decide to fly the rainbow flag off the hitch like the Taco owners do

A good off-road vehicle makes it easier to get to Brokeback Mountain

Very nice, told my wife she needed a new Bronco Sport but she said no. She likes the one she has.

I’ve tried to sell my wife on getting a nice off-road capable vehicle forever. She basically says nope, she likes comfortable cars with all the tech doodads and when she goes off-road, which she now loves to do, she’d rather me drive. Got her a nice Mazda CX70 Turbo S Premium last year and I have to sheepishly admit I LOVE that car. It’s just stupid fast, has all the latest tech, a killer entertainment system and handles (as my father-in-law used to say) like a cat with sneakers

. Just eats up the local mountain roads.
It’s her third Mazda in a row and they have all been just exceptional cars. Now, she will admit she misses her Hummer and she’s intrigued by the new EV model. But I’m not amused by the price tag on that one.

Great looking new ride! They're not for everyone, but for the target niche the Gladiator is a great enthusiast's vehicle, especially the Mojave. Had I not found such a good deal on my Taco a Mojave was pretty high on the list of considerations.

It's pretty neat that Jeep designed a vehicle specifically for desert running, this thing is literally built for my ecosystem. I crawled under it last night just to check it out and it's impressive compared to my Overland, and the Fox shock system eliminates the rake so no need for a leveler. I can comfortably run up to 35" tires without worrying about a lift or re-gearing and I now have armor underneath! This will extend my range a few more miles into the more challenging trails. All in the name of getting away from other humans

Truthfully, I don't know that many therapists personally.
I am sure there are some who carry or have one handy, but I don't know of any personally.
Well...I do know one guy

Truth be told by the time I came home the, "You did what?!?!?!?" was already turned into, "Ok, show me what you got." with a big smile on her face. She likes to go off-road as much, maybe even a hint more, than I do. Especially when my granddaughter is with us. She LOVES going wheeling with grandpa.

My daughter is a big fan too and we love to load up the back with guns and go empty some cases. Actually we are doing that today after I'm done with my morning calls.

The girl in her feral state. Note the dog is laying comfortably in the shade on the rear bench. It was just over 105 that particular day

Thanks!
I live to make my family happy first and have a little fun while I'm at it. Life is not complicated if you follow that formula.

It also comes in handy when you want to haul Forum brothers through a trail we later found out was "closed".

We're working on a proper hat for Tom and a t-shirt that doesn't tell the world he thinks he's in Florida

So that's the current "I'm keeping this thing forever" vehicle.
Nice!
