Hello everyone,
Here is my latest build using the A&K AKB-23 dedicated bullpup lower designed to pair with the BRN-180. I made some modification and here are the results. I also have been in contact with the manufacturers about my modifications and they are looking to make the modifications as a standard part of their offerings allowing the use of the BCA bolt action and the Uintah bolt action. I love this lower and it is a better option than what I have done using the Reap or the Triad from my other builds.

New Bullpup bolt action.
Re: New Bullpup bolt action.
This was built by my nephew, the gun is real and handles extremely well. It will accept any buffer less AR upper including bolt actions. It shoots sub MOA and is easy to carry. There's no need for an AR lower, the trigger and mag well are in the chassis. The fact that with just two pins you can switch the upper makes this rifle very versatile. The trigger is two stage and breaks clean at 4 lbs. I don't think it would take too much to reduce that. OAL with a 16" barrel is just over 26".
When I first considered my bolt action bullpup I was concerned the action would be awkward to operate, that's not the case, it as easy as scratching your ear. BCA has made some upgrades to their AR bolt action uppers that made them more smooth. Within a year I'll sell the Reap Chassis I have and convert to this for the better trigger and less weight.
These rifles are a game changer for me. I have had both knees replaced and this month I'll get my left ankle replaced. I have multiple issues in my spine. With these little rifles I can walk the woods with my shooting/walking stick and raise the rifle one handed when needed. When in our narrow hunting sheds it is easy to maneuver and fast. I plan on applying for a handicap hunting license this year so I can also hunt from my truck and this little rifle will shine in that application. It's too bad we don't have a shoot fest anymore, I'd love to show these offs. Mine is 26 3/4 inches, has an 18 inch barrel and is chambered in 6 ARC. The scope is a SWFA 2.5 x 10 and weighs about 7 lbs. I'll lose close to a pound with the new chassis.
