Should be
I'm not used to the hangers and brackets etc

They had jack stands new and cheap so the redneck in me thought I could use the jackstands with a bracket on each side.
2Ɨ4 though them and pipe for swingers below
Yes /no
Seemed easy to set up move etc.

The redneck range
Couple of caps on the pipe and it stays as a unit.

I had to look up what you said as I didn't know KYL target.
Definitely the animals could be fun with 22's at distance.
The snake šŸ looks like the tough one.

They look small enough to knock over with a pellet/BB gun.

The guy who's these were was into the compressed air guns.
I think they are rated for 22's
Unless a very fast bb gun not likely to knock over.

The big plates are 3/8 ar 500 so can use them for heavier stuff

We tried it out after some modification

Wicked fun

I didn't like the height
Added swingers to the sides
Great fun when it lines up ,I think the word is perpendicular, and you shoot it that way to get it back.

Was worried about some shooters and the wood so gave it another mod after getting home.

It waa easy to set up.....big goal.

That looks like great fun. I'm think about a KYL target stand for my granddaughters to practice on.

It has been a giggle machine.and was easy enough to make up.
The spinner when it gets on edge is one of the best parts.
My son and I agreed we really have to paper test that lever 22
It constantly could hit it on edge.

More spinners
This setup is done.
Kids really enjoyed them.
They started timing hits while still spinning.
Lots of laughs.
A golf ball takes lots of hits before coming free.

Really figured out some easy ways to make your own reactive targets doing this.

After cobbing this up we definitely came up with a lot of simple easy ways to make one up..

One would be a couple lengths of pvc pipe.
Drill a hole in each
A base for each side and simply slide a rod through hole and hang whatever.
We used some type of eyelets and it worked great

They are at the point they can.
They were timing hits on the golf balls while spinning

We used to shoot potatoes impaled on a piece of threaded rod implanted in the ground.....great fun BTW
Then it turned into shooting pieces of the rod off.

You guys are giving me some great ideas. I have a lot of PVC free standing target stands and a bunch of scrap plywood. With some minor modifications I could come up with some fun targets. I have 3" and 6" hole saws, some bailing wire and I'm set!

Thanks guys

Do the spinners they are a riot.
So easy to make too....and cheap.
The imagination really took over on this.
I'm sure we'll keep adding.

My son Hunter is helping alot he's pretty involved mentally in making it as we go.

My hunting partner bought a plasma cutter yesterday! The sky is the limit now. I made PVC stands because I can put at least four in a small duffel bag. No weight at all and easy to store.
