I was perusing other sites a while ago and during a search about monolithic bullets I came across this gem from the past... not our past, thankfully!
It gave me a good chuckle so I just had to share it. I read the entire thread and many of the members thanked him for the physics lesson. Some time later the guy came back and admitted his post was all wrong. At least, he had integrity, no one else caught it.

When the proposed solution doesn’t quite work toss in a few divide by zeroes and the algebra becomes easier.
