Wife's now driving a 2023 Rav4 XLE AWD, in "Blueprint Blue"
This isn't hers, but the only difference in appearance are the wheels

Being 12 years newer than what it replaced, has ALL kinds of tech we're having to figure out

OOPS, didn't notice the roof rack on this pic, so there are 2 differences, because hers doesn't have one of those either. It DOES have a "weatherguard" type liner in the back though, so in a pinch...

Great vehicle choice, hard to go wrong with a Toyota! I've been considering a Rav4 Hybrid as a daily myself to replace this POS Outback.

NOT being a hybrid was one of our requirements

Why is that? I'd venture to say if any company has proven the ability to get hybrids right, it's Toyota.
I'm pretty excited to see the real world performance of the hybrid driven Tacoma and Land Cruiser, personally.

I like it! I just bought a Ford Bronco sport. The new tech gadgets take some getting used to. I told my wife I was going to take it hunting yesterday, she handed me my rifle with the barrel facing the wrong direction!

LOL @Freezer. My wife would only do that if I didn't offer to take her too.
Thanks Jayhawker

Nice ride. You'll get years of service out of that with very few problems.
My mom bought a Rav 4 brand new in 2004 and not only does it still look the same as it did when she purchased it, but has only required standard maintainance all these years.

My stepsons fiance got a Rav4 hybrid awhile back. She had a deposit on one she ordered for over a year. She finally gave up and just got one off the lot. About the time she got it, she started working from home and hardly drives it.

Nice looking vehicle - not something I'd want of course, but it should serve your wife well. I wouldn't want a hybrid either - or at least not a gasoline hybrid.
