Well… lack of Speaker

Matt Gaetz has managed to seriously screw thing up. While I agree Mcarthy was not the best. Probably should have waited until after a damn budget was signed.
We have troops moving into harms way, in something we don’t belong in, in the Med. We have things going on in Europe. We have troops literally in harms way in Iraq. We have things going on in the pacific… annd without a budget, we can’t move the military forward.
In 22 days, the current CR expires, and without a speaker we can’t put forth any budget proposals…22 days.

fudge it.
Let it fail. Let it all fail. Maybe that will spur public opinion to oust every last one of the worthless cock suckers.
Yeah right. But one can dream.

Of course, with no budget the Ukrainians and Jews (god how I wanted to be REAL offensive) might have to deal with their own poop. I mean, there’s nothing that hard working Americans who have been **** with a capital F out of their hard earned tax dollars could do with the billions and billions of dollars that are being sent overseas. (That’s sarcasm, for people too dumb to recognize it)

If it was such a big deal, then why aren’t we upset with everyone that didn’t support Jordan? Gaetz did just exactly what his constituents wanted- which is what we want our representatives to do.

Honestly, the less that happens in Washington, the better it is for the American people. The best we can hope for these days is gridlock

I’m his constituent.

That Askhat isn’t even from the panhandle.

But, you’re kinda on the right path. To win District one, you have to be neo conservative and be quasi-bigoted… too many of those solid south minded folks still running around.
Also, why I don’t talk to my parent and joined the army.

While I whole heartedly agree Ukraine should have been an all or nothing - being we either jumped in with both feet up to the hip… or we turned our back and let Europe deal with European problems. As it is, we’ve been saving them from their own mistakes since 1914.
NATO had a chance since 2008 (when Ukraine first asked for membership) to keep this from happening. As soon as Putin made his intentions clear, they could have ratified membership, and chose not to…

And yes… Israel is not the moral beacon everyone thinks it is. And, again.. this was another problem created by Britain and the French. Israel keeps taking and taking. And, the world keeps turning a blind eye.
They’ve become that bully that knows how to pick on a kid when the teacher isn’t looking. And when that kid finally has enough, and fights back, then the bully plays the victim.
And this is coming from a guy that has a Jewish - turn messianic Jewish heritage…

National interests. . .

I'm all in favor of throwing money into Ukraine's war to bleed the false show/little go Russian budget and military white. It's about as close to going with Patton's plan for 1945 as can still be done - and much more cheaply. That's in our interests. Only thing that would be better is if they and China went at it over Siberia's resources.

Israel. . .obtaining the oil of their enemies has been a lot more in our interests than propping them up on some kind of fuzzy religious/moral grounds when we're supposedly founded on the cultural melting pot/separation of church and state model. That's been an ongoing tapdance that we're likely going to keep paying for for a long time.

Unfortunately "the mob" doesn't tend to think the necessary moves ahead to care about national interests, and the officials they elect are playing for political expediency (read that as "staying employed").

Nope. No starry-eyed idealism here.

Getting rid of McCarthy is the best thing that has happened in quite a long time. And I'm with CPJ and Bullsi1911, the less that happens in Washington, the better off we are and let the damn thing fall.

As for Israel, that's a poop we should have NEVER gotten involved with. Two forms of monotheism that - as always - cannot get along, being propped up by a third group of monotheists to the detriment of everyone. I say give them 6 months notice to get out, then nuke the whole thing into green glass from one end to the other. Then they won't have anything to fight over.

Nine Republicans played into the Dumacrats hands to their political gain! The same happened when Trump tried to overturn Obama's unaffordable Health care act. The Republicans had eight years to come up with a better idea, and what did they do? They're both equally worthless!

No political courage!

Too many people are behind this for nothing more than reasons written thousands of years ago, and you know what I mean.
