PSA is selling the VP9 for $500 + tax / shipping. Plus, HK is running a 4 magazine (or whatever you want for $200 in their shop) rebate.

There might be one of these heading to my FFL...

Pic to avoid fine. A Sig P322 also came home with me today since it made sense to buy the Sig in exchange for waiving the transfer fee!

Both good buys!
If I'm being honest, I'm way more interested in your thoughts on the P322 as opposed to the VP9.

Average. But I have been planning to buy one anyway and with the transfer fee netted out it worked out well.

The P322 lives up to the hype. The FO sights are great, it's optic ready, fits great in my hand (average size hands), trigger is really nice (comes with flat face installed but also includes a curved trigger), and includes a threaded barrel attachment.
I ran about 150 rounds through it today. Not rested, just off hand around 15 yards mostly. Realizing it's just a .22LR, I was impressed with how it come back on target. Had a couple of failure to fires with Federal Auto Match. Both were the last round in the mag and both had what appeared to be good strikes. Way too small of a sample to form an opinion there.
The VP9 ran as expected. Dry firing I thought the trigger was lacking but live fire is good. It's got a tight reset and I feel like someone more capable than me could run it fast. Biggest dislike is the mag release which I knew going in. I found that my best way to drop the mag quickly was with my trigger finger. Using my thumb invariably involved getting off my grip to reach the release. Sights are great. It ate all of the crappy Wolf ammo I wanted to run today.
