I'm curious about the game Camera preferences everyone has. Years ago I had 3 Primos 35's and one got stolen and the other 2 failed under warranty. I sent them back to Primos and instead of repairing them, they replaced them with two new ultra 46's which were a couple of notches up from the ones that I sent back. I was all excited about them and I only ended up using one of them for one season, and then it quit working. The other one currently works but who knows for how long. Primos quit selling cameras and considering that I had 3 out of 5 fail in less than a year, I can see why. Does anyone have a decent camera that's lasted for a few years? I'd like to try a wireless one since it's only about 150yds from the camera to the house.

I've had good luck and had good life from Browning Cameras So much so that I bought external solar batteries for them. Where I have them has spotty cell coverage with my phone, so I haven't tried their wireless/cellular ones

Going on 2 years with the AT&T and Verizon version of these, under 100$ each, seem to be getting closer to $50, the lithium batteries are still 100% since September in the MN cold, $10 month for access to the pictures is plenty, $15 for unlimited, so far so good

It's only 30 miles to where I hunt, so I just swap them when we go hunting or I go to add corn to the feeders

Had a Spypoint outside for two years straight. Cellular model, which I think is all they make. Plans range from free ninety nine per month for 50 pics, to $15 for unlimited. Or, you can just pull the memory card like a regular camera.
Probably need a SMARTPHONE to take full advantage of it though.

Which for anyone else reading this, cell cams are awesome. I couldn’t drive one way to where I hunt for $15 to check a memory card.

Also can get real time pictures if someone is trespassing

The cell cameras sound pretty cool and I'll probably go that route when I get back on a lease in Alabama but for now I just need about 125yds across an unobstructed pasture. My wireless meat thermometer has a 300ft range and some of the wireless security systems I've looked at claim to have a 125 to 150yd range. I was hoping there was a Bluetooth game camera that could reach a little over 100yds. For 15 bucks a month, I can walk across the pasture and swap cards.

I am not happy with either my SPYPOINT or Moultrie cell cams. I will probably replace them both with a Tactacam in the post season sales.

I'm not even really picky as even the lower end cameras can suit my needs. I'd just like to find cameras that last more than a season.

I've been using StealthCams for a few years now...no complaints...have one that's still functioning that was chewed on by a bear...it's about time to replace some and will lively go with the same ones...
