ANDROID 14 warning

They're apparently going "microsoft" and putting out untested CRAP updates.
My S22+ had automatic update turned on, and after the 3.3gig update, the "phone", text and contacts won't work.
It's an issue with UI 6.1
If you run an android, you might want to turn off auto update until they get this crap fixed.

Called Samsung, they're sending me to a local repair shop to get the memory flashed, and say if that doesn't fix it, to do a factory reset.
One problem with that, people online are saying UI6.1 still won't work after the reset, so they lost their "stuff" for nothing.
And don't start with how much better apple is. I wouldn't piss on an Iphone if it was on fire and will continue to run Android until something better comes along.

If you find ANYTHING branded apple in this household, it's because you, or someone else brought it in with them and it WON"T be staying.
And no it's not Iphones I hate, my hatred for apple started even pre ipod. Long story, don't ask, just accept that it's apple I hate and be glad it's not you

“Throttling” the phones made great sense from a technical perspective and allowed users of older phones to still continue to get new features and software upgrades. My MIL ran an iPhone 6 for many years without problems because of throttling. Unfortunately lawyers made a huge deal of it and ignorant courts that do not understand technology went along. So now instead of slowing down older phones Apple just stored supporting older models and I had to pay for and upgrade to her iPhone 6 so she could continue enjoying her smart phone features.

So exactly who lost on this?

FWIW I run Beta IOS releases on all my devices and even these early releases are very good. Haven’t rebooted my phone in years.

Apparently the users of the older phones, or at least that's what the court decided

Which one has a bigger effect on the number of revolutions a bullet makes before it hits the target: bullet speed or rifling twist?

I have not met you but according to others that comment on your stature I have to wonder if a 270 is just too long for you.

Well, the phone reboots itself after every (frequent) update so that statement doesn't really hold water. :D

My last android had to be rebooted once a day or it’d lock up for no good reason at all. It was years ago but I have a long memory about stuff like that. My iPhone does whatever it needs to do while I sleep and it’s good to go when I wake up. I can live with that. 👍
