I’d seen quite a few pimped out model 2240 pistols. Pretty spendy to purchase, but very cheap to make when you have thousands of dollars worth of equipment. I mean, it’s basically free!

Started with this.

Then with some imagination and metal butchering, got this.

Now we're talking. I bought 3 of them, one which I repurposed the grip/sear assembly on my homemade 50 cal air rifle. I plan on turning one into a pcp and have no idea what yo do with the other. I'm assuming that's yours? It looks fantastic. You can do alot of mods to the valve inside to push more fps.

Yep, it’s mine. Made the valve adjustable, wasn’t worth the effort. Other than to say I’ve got an adjustable valve. The trigger is stupid good now however. Like “i swear I didn’t touch it, it just went off” good.

Put it on a chronograph yet?

Yes. Nothing gained. And in reality….it’s a co2 gun. Ain’t gonna gain much. I have it turned down, best I recall.

There's a guy Quackenbush (seriously), that would turn those into 45 caliber pcp pistols that would push slugs at somewhere around 800fps. I remember hearing about people hunting deer with them.

Yeah, he’s about an hour from me.
