Put together my Christmas gift early- a Blackstone 36” griddle- and have been experimenting today. Pork fried rice is one heck of a good “first cook”
Tomorrow morning will be breakfast on the Blackstone, NY Strip on the grill with sautéed mushrooms and creamed spinach for dinner.

You’ll love the Blackstone. Hand pattied burgers and sautéed onions are a favorite of mine.
Planning a full packer brisket and a ham on the traeger for Christmas dinner. I’ll start the brisket about midnight. Smoked Blood sausage and liverwurst rings yesterday for midday crackers and cheese.

Or bad, so there’s nothing to lose. Add some mashed potatoes and creamed peas (bleh, but the family wants them) and it’s done. I feel like hammered ass and will not be getting fancy.

We're getting Chinese food from the local Buffet and special-order place. It's pretty good food and they're open on Christmas.

My family had dinner last night. I contributed bread to the meal. Tomorrow will be dinner with the wife's dad and step mom. I have to make more bread tonight.

Wife is making this a long with roasted potatoes, fresh green beans and Yorkshire puddings.

We're having white lasagna and some other miscellaneous Italian food tonight with Diver and his wife attending along with some other friends. Tomorrow I'll be smoking turkey breast for the fourth time since Thanksgiving.

Chile with beans, Wife is working so just my 2 boys and me.

I smoked a pork loin and then did ribeyes, mashed potatoes, asparagus and crème brûlée for dessert. All washed down with Buffalo Trace on the rocks

Cooking a rib roast on the komado grill tomorrow. Bride is baking my favorite dessert right now - sweet potato pie.

SIL is traveling for the next few days so we’re deferring Christmas Dinner until he gets home on the 29th, then we’re having a Mexican food fest. Wife and I cooked Louisiana Cajun two days ago so we’re having leftovers with my daughter. World class Red Brans and Rice with andouille sausage, seafood gumbo and bread pudding for dessert with a Bourbon Chantilly cream sauce over it. Used Woodford Bourbon for the sauce and damn!!!!!

Tonight some tuna sushi, bacon wrapped shrimp, and some wild Texas hog turned into jalapeño cheese sausage. Local ham with all the fixings tomorrow

Kids are coming out on Tuesday. Keeping it simple. Got four ham steaks from the butcher, scalloped potatoes, noodles, green beans, and dinner rolls. Today my wife made about 6 dozen cut-outs (I iced them ) chocolate chip cookies, white chocolate chip with macadamia nuts, and a French crumble apple pie. Still making a pumpkin pie and buckeyes tomorrow.

Wife and I are going to have a dressing stuffed roasted chicken for dinner tomorrow.

I even put up the tree! First time in three years.

Rib Roast, Yorkshire pudding, and crispy baked potatoes. Every year I can remember and every year to come. My favorite meal of the year.

Those scrimps look great! Do you precook the bacon some before wrapping and cooking shrimp? I've never been able to get bacon wrapped shrimp to my liking as one of the two always seems to be over or under cooked.

Flying solo for Christmas this year. So went with what I had in the freezer. Pork ribs, chicken thighs and drumsticks. Got the ribs on the smoker now. I’ll let them have a head start, then put the chicken on so it can all finish at the same time.

Started with raw thawed shrimp wrapped in raw bacon, cook at 350 middle to low rack, keep an eye on it so the bacon does not char, we pretty much make bacon on a cookie sheet with parchment paper in the oven any more, bacon can get ruined in about 1 minute, so no staring at your phone while you are cooking

Spatchcocked Cornish hens with sausage and apple stuffing

Made WAYYY too much breakfast on the griddle. Still not hungry and it’s almost time to start the steaks.

I will be cooking Tuesday, wife had to work today but is off tomorrow. I fixed the pies today.
Will be fixing prime rib with mashed taters and wife's favorite sweet potatoes.

I may or may not have eaten two cut-out cookies for breakfast........
