My friend is having a custom 404 Jeffery rifle built for an extended African safari and they will make custom ammo for the gun as part of the deal but he has to get components. They want to do it on Norma brass but Norma discontinued all 404 products so we’re on a Global search for brass or ammo.

Anyone here have any ideas or sources?

I use Hornady brass.

That’s still pretty available and it might have to do the job. Don’t know why the gun maker is specifying Norma. We might have found some in London. That could be challenging sending it to the states.

I may have found the same English source you did. I've ordered Lee-Enfield parts from the UK without difficulty - I don't think brass would be a problem. Hoover up what you can.

Because anything to do with African safari items is rooted in superstition, tradition, misinformation, etc etc.

See if you can find out the core elements of the builder's chipmunk-juggling technique. Inquiring minds want to know!

I missed the part that Norma products were discontinued. I assumed just out of stock.
In that case, the builder is a tool bag that refuses to change in the face of a discontinued item. Get the Hornady which can be gotten, move on.

Money doesn’t equal brains.

Anyway, let’s live vicariously through this man.
