From the ground, what would it look like if someone standing in the back of an aircraft that's moving 580mph (850.59 fps) fired a bullet moving 850.59fps rearward, just as the plane passed you?
FROM the GROUND, I think you would see the bullet fall straight down and then roll away from the spin from the rifling.
Do you agree? If you don't, what do YOU think you would see?

Mythbusters did that one with a fast truck and a soccer ball cannon pointed to the rear.
They got footage of the soccer ball "dropping" straight down from the rear of the truck as it was going 50 mph.
