Yup that's right
I've accumulated way to many.
I want to get down in quantity.
Maybe build a bit in quality as I do it.
I did already start at the end of last year but it's more full blown now.
Posted 3 doubles just today.
End of last year I started thinning 22 target guns.
I did buy another but only because it was a stupid deal.
Your plans ?

I am going to give it awhile before I do that, see what the anti-gun crowd has in mind in MN, might need to have enough to make them think they got all of them. Zee keeps making me think I need a thermal scope. MORE hunting and MORE shooting with the kids, more fishing too.

Talk to Wambli - he's an expert at thinning herds.

Would love to, but not yet. Also can you still buy ammo for it? Don't remember even seeing brass. But damn

I sold 40 last year. I regret some of these 40, but not for long. Lost my ass on the deal, but it was fair...

I didn't sell because I had to. I accepted the offer that I could have refused. That's why it was fair. Try to find a buyer who wants 40 firearms and can pay you in cash.

Over the past few years I’ve thinned the guns. Meager numbers by this community’s standards. But they all went to nephews and all went hunting.
After that exercise I do need a new trout rig and somehow I know it won’t be a low cost version.

I need to quit looking! I have enough to shoot until I’m dirt but still find more. Some of you aren’t helping either!

I've thinned just about as far as I can go right now. Sold a bunch over the last two years but pretty much re invested in better quality, kind of a sell 3 buy one scenario. Still a few things on my radar if opportunities present.

That's been my goal for a while but I'm not having much luck with it. Just need to get motivated to post some sale listings and get some stuff I'll never shoot moving.
Plus I need to stop reacting to good deals and buying guns I don't really need (not really but sounds good!)

If it's a Stith mount, jump on it!! The mount is worth $300-400, I'll send you some brass. If it's been D&T'd, not collectabble!

There’s no factory offering out there that is interesting enough to me to make me want it. Anything I buy from now on will likely be something I have to build or assemble. It could be an AR of some flavor, a barreled action, etc.
I don’t shoot what I own enough, there’s no sense buying more just to buy them.
I may rebuild a few, who knows. SQUIRREL!

That’s why we have Palmetto State Armory
