Which gun for a gun raffle?

I am putting together a gun raffle for my Lions club and one of the banks sponsors a Pheasants Forever banquet and gets a free gun with their sponsorship and is donating it to my raffle, I am down to a Rem 700 in my choice of caliber and a Mossberg Silver Reserve O/U 20 ga. I am leaning towards the Rem 700, but, I have no experience with what I assume is the most recent new version, I assume it will be a ADL if that is still a thing with Remington. I would not complain about the Mossberg in my neck of the woods either, plenty of pheasant, grouse, huns, doves, and turkeys as well as small game.
What say ye', pipe in on caliber if you are OK with the new 700's.
Here is my current list:

With the changes in Remington, I'd prefer the Mossberg, personally.

Shotgun.
I don’t trust new Remington, and….its just another box stock 700 like everyone’s grandpa has kicking around.

At least the shotgun is unique.

Not a lot of rifle users in my neck of the woods where I live since we are in a shotgun zone for deer, no rifles allowed, but rifle caliber hand guns are OK

Go for the shotgun
Shotgun hunting covers everything from quail, pheasants, ducks, turkeys. The Rem 700 hunts is limited to deer, elk, bears, hogs depends on what’s local

My 700, which I've had for many moons, is an absolute tack driver and is primarily for coyotes. It's a 22-250...

State gambling rules, you have to list the prizes, and, I have to get the gum transferred from the shop that is handling the pheasant banquet guns to the shop that is handling my raffle, and, you would be shocked how many guns are in the basement of my gunshop waiting to be picked up by raffle winners, some have been sitting there for over 6 months, can't let people think for themselves. Besides, my shop can hook them up if they want something different, I am just looking for the carrot that sells a ticket.

Yeah, I am leaning shotgun, my knee jerk reaction is to get a .35 Whelen or something metric, but I can swap the American Tactical Cavalry for the Mossberg and pick out something else, thanks folks.

Gothcha - Here in southern Arizona, near the border, where most are military or law enforcement that is not a problem. To get the most attention maybe a 300 Winchester magnum would be a good bet.
