I'm betting that Biden drops out due to health reasons right before election and Michelle or Newsome is a shoe in. Trumps campaign against Biden wasted.

"Laugh about it, shout about it; when you've got to choose
Every way you look at it you lose" - Simon & Garfunkel

Since at least Bill Clinton, we've been defined by mobilizing against the perceived evil of the other side, and the crazy bases have held the steering wheel of each car.

That it's descended to the point where Donald Trump and Joe Biden are what we've chosen to put in line for the highest office in the land should make this obvious to all. That it DOESN'T pretty much proves the old saying: "We get the government we deserve"
WWJMBD?

I believe we should stand on Ceremony. . . while our friends handcuff the sanctimonious little prick and take him away.

I would tend to agree, but will not count him out. I thought the same thing in 16 and the Rs elected him anyway. I used to labor under the opinion the Rs were generally smarter than Ds. I no longer labor under that opinion. Look where we are. Both parties have nominated corrupt, dimensia ridled narcissists to represent their positions. If this does not illustrate the pathetic intellectual state of the average American, I don't know what else could. Perhaps the best example is gun owners still thinking the CJ has their back.

As bigslug pointed out. We are once again in a lose lose scenario.

See my new sig line
I'm leaning toward the 2nd option being the correct one

Something a friend of mine pointed out is that if Trump wins the presidency, he's a lame duck going in, so his influence will probably be reduced relative to what he had in 2016.

Or he will change the rules so he can get elected again.

He may/probably will, but don't see that happening

Trump can't change the rules so he can serve another term, he would just have to become a dictator and I don't think that would happen. I missed my pick on the last election but I think it will be Michelle as our next president.

What makes that especially scary is that she has never held an elected public office.

Michelle = Barack's 3rd term or 4th if some people are right and he is in control now.
