9th circuit...The stay was granted on Feb. 5 according to an order filed in the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.
SHOCKING

Wonder when we require passing a background check to vote?

I get why people stay in that state and don't exodus in droves. They have family there. It's the only reason that I'm still in Ohio. One day on my deathbed I'm gonna regret that I stayed within the 275 loop, but at least we have decent gun laws.

This **** more men than people realize . Tied to a location because of family.Justsomedude wrote: ↑Thu Feb 08, 2024 2:46 am I get why people stay in that state and don't exodus in droves. Not saying it’s right or wrong or judging, but it’s simply a fact.
I *was* there, but not anymore. But I’ve got no reason to move. At least out of state.
To the woods where I live like a hermit in a tiny house for the rest of my days, yes.

Family, plus seeing the current employment to its conclusion due to ZERO desire to start over, but the "Behind Enemy Lines" aspect grows tiresome.Justsomedude wrote: ↑Thu Feb 08, 2024 2:46 am I get why people stay in that state and don't exodus in droves. If there's a "good" side to this, in the 35 years since California really got rolling on gun control, they've progressed from measures that you might say originated in the mind of someone well-intentioned but clueless, to bald-faced harassment since Bruen. The dumber their arguments, the easier it is to poke holes in them. While the NRA has pretty much abandoned us out here, the CRPA under Chuck Michel has been kicking ass and not worrying about the names. If you want to help set national precedent, it'd be worth throwing them a buck or three - they're actually doing something.
WWJMBD?
I believe we should stand on Ceremony. . . while our friends handcuff the sanctimonious little prick and take him away.

Oh, and the irony is how little some of us see the family that we stay here for.
But the job thing is another good point. I'd be starting over again fresh if I opened up shop in another state.
