Anyway…..

Scott posted a video somewhere on stalking up to turkeys with a Tom decoy. Saw it and knew I had to do it before I got too old to do it. Ain’t real smart pretending to be the bird people are trying to shoot, but I’ll be on private land. Probably won’t die.

Got my .410 re-scoped from a See All open sight (I SO wanted to like that) to a Vortex RDS. Muuuuuch better. Modified my scope mount a bit to make it easier to load the gun. When I made the mount last year I left metal where it didn’t need to be left. Cut that out, powder coated the base and slapped it together.
Now to sight it in and find a dumb turkey.

Saw that on onenof the TV hunting shows, along with using a mirror for a blind. Both worked, for the TV show amyways.

What brand .410? I have one similar and was told there was not enough metal to screw in a mount, I have a bolt 16 ga I would like to put a dot on too. I bet you get one hey

Any of the outcomes I can predict from success to your spectacular demise with a face full of shot would be epic on video, so please work this out!!!

There’s enough, if they want to. And since it’s a 100% custom mount, they probably don’t want to.

If you can't conure up or modify a go-pro type mount... I'd be surprised.

Go-pro knock off cams are cheap on the zon.

Yeah, this definitely needs video. Preferably from multiple angles.

Yep...We did that in Kansas but never on public access land...

I'm not 100% certain, since I don't turkey hunt, I haven't kept up with the regs, however, I believe that's prohibited in this state.
