If you are not aware, it is on Prime, the writers are freaks, it is as good as I remember, season 3, episodes 14 and 15 it is really hitting its stride, watching it is quite relaxing.

The dialog is fast and furious, you need to pay attention, again, those writers were pretty good, the dream sequences crack us up.

Love the characters and the quirky plots. Having lived in New York for decades during the 80s and 90s I had a ton of Jewish friends very much like Dr. Fleishman. I can vividly see them in an Alaska small town setting and his character absolutely nailed it.

I like they used an empty case box of Alaskan Beer to put ballots in for the mayoral election

Cicely Alaska aka Roslyn Wa.
There’s a giant resort community up by there now. Picture was taken last summer I have never seen so many Tesla, BMW, and Porsche SUV in one place.

Not going anywhere near it. I’d rather think of it the way it was.
Nowadays any town with more than a few hundred folks holds little allure for me. When I get in the Jeep I’ve already plotted a course AWAY from people…

Just down the road is the town of Cle Elum. There’s an intersection that on one corner is an amazing artisanal bakery. Across the street is Owens Meats and on the 3rd corner is Three Forks Reloading. Owens meats has what they call “trail mix” it’s a mix of various jerky, snack sticks, landjeager and smoked cheeses. Then Three forks no guns just ammo and reloading stuff. If they don’t have it you don’t need it. We stop there every time we travel that way.
