CVA Cascade Rifles?

Anyone have or have experience with the CVA Cascade rifles? I've been looking at the Ruger American Gen II in .204 Ruger and stumbled across the Cascade as an alternative. Looks to be a solid rifle for the money when compared to the Ruger - better stock, better trigger, Bergara barrel. One downside is the mag appears to be proprietary.

I haven't put fingerprints on one yet but various places online have good things to say. For the right price I would buy one without hesitation.

I think Backfire on YouTube has a video about them and says good things

No experience with them but they look good! I think I’d like to see one first hand.

I fondled one the other day. Decent gun, stock while better shaped than the Ruger, was a bit more twisty in the forearm. But the up and down bendy motion (say if a bipod was mounted) was less than the RAR.

Magazine was **** trash. I’m not against a good plastic magazine, (Magpul, Glock) but this one was hot thin plastic dookie.

I’m now to the point mostly that if I can’t get a gun with an AICS pattern mag or an AR mag, I’m not interested.

On the single shots that CVA makes, they use bergarra barrels that are extremely accurate for being so low cost. No idea if they do that on the bolt guns, but I hope they do

Yes, the Bergara barrel is what has me interested.
