I was travelling yesterday and gas was up in TN by 20-45 cents. KY was up between 40-60 cents. NC was up the dollar+ previously mentioned. With the NC number being such an outlier my guess is it was maybe the one station making some extra profit.

Wonder if we will see the gas lines of the 70s.

You can also tint the finish rather than stain the wood. Something like Mixol, or a similar product. The furniture maker I worked for years ago did more tinting than he did staining.

Try a conditioner.
