Re: Gonna need a bigger boat.... I mean gun.
Well definitely not brown bears. Those things are ridiculous in size. Two videos that really give a perspective of just how much of a super predator they are, that I've seen: One video showed two male Grizzlies full on fighting for about a solid 10 minutes and they were brutal, tearing chunks from o...

They've even been seen around here alot lately in the greater Cincinnati area. Not that I hike, but I wonder if my 9mm wildcat would suffice for bear.

Anyone that has faith in our judicial system and SCOTUS shouldn't care what political leaning the Justices are IF they're doing their job as they're supposed to. I personally do not.

A buddy of mine on Facebook was praising them for finding a kidnapped 3 year old. I responded that I still dont support their use or existence. He said "I bet youd change your mind if it was your 3 year old." He's a gun guy so I asked him if he'd be anti gun if a family member was a victim...

Yes. If you have ejection port strikes, you can alter the face angle of the ejector.

I wouldnt be surprised if that weird thing now happens where I never knew something existed, I find out they exist and then all of a sudden I see a bunch of them in a short time span. Pretty cool find.

A big "WOO-HOO!" indeed! It seems that there is also a magazine component to the two rifle cases - Grant and Viramontes - they've chosen to take up that will allow them to roll up the mag ban cases at the same time. The supposition is that those cases will then get handed back to their re...

Re: My Brother Passed This Evening
We laid him to rest yesterday...his kids, grandkids, great grands, nephews, nieces and cousins gathered for him one last time, some words were said, a rifle volley was fired, Taps was played and that was that...it was well done My condolences to everyone. Its pretty neat to think of all of the futu...

If I ever plan on committing a serious crime with a firearm in the future, I'll be sure to make sure my wife takes a picture of me holding the weapon while I hold up a current newspaper, just to authenticate the moment.
Re: Iceland
I'm pretty sheltered when it comes to traveling but the wife and I took our honeymoon in Alaska. The neatest thing was experiencing 24hrs of daylight.

We have a bunch of mulberry trees. Made jam out of them and I couldn't get the pectin to gel up to save my life.

Speaking of TSA, what a joke. Imagine how smooth brained you have to be to take a potential explosive (my effing bottled water) and throw it in the trash can that you'll stand next to for the rest of your shift, because ya know, it might be an explosive

Re: Bullet Point Mounting Solutions - Review
Nice to have the tools and skills to get around shortcomings in our purchases. So why steel? Seems like most of the high end stuff I've seen commercially is made of aluminum and I have not really thought about it but I think steel seems to be generally more "slick" when machined as oppose...

I bought a nice handlebar phone mount for my Ducati Monster. The pivot portion of it narrows down pretty thin and is made of plastic. It gave me the willies everytime I would go out riding and see my phone shaking around so I finally made a new pivot out of steel.

Nice jeep! It should definitely be able to handle whatever you throw it into, and do it in comfort. I'd be terrified to go out in the desert too far, alone. I watched too many episodes of "I shouldn't be alive." Great show btw. I'm sure they've changed since when I had to test drive some c...
