Re: More hypocrisy- Michael Jackson movie
Wasn't Micahel aquited on all charges? IMHO, its more likely that some kids mom saw him as an opportunity to make some quick cash. There's also alot of child stars that came out and said he was never inappropriate with them. FWIW, he was acquitted of all charges by unanimous jury decision. https://...

Damn!!!!!!!!!!!!! 😍❤️😍❤️😍❤️😍 Not gonna lie. That looks stupid nice so far. Envy. The wood seems to have potential and of course Jeff is a world class GS. Should be a fun little classic shooter! I appreciate that! I also saw that you called. Sorry I wasn't able to answer but today has been a busy da...

Whoever drilled the stock for the bolt should be fired. They drilled from both ends of the stock (crooked) and didnt meet up either hole. I'm going to have to just drill it oversized, glue in a dowel and redo it.

I got alot done so far. Most of the stock fitting to receiver but leaving the bulk because IIRC, you said you'd like to finish the wood. I got the receiver and parts buttery smooth after alot of hand fitting.

Ironically the antidote for methanol poisoning is ethanol. It binds to the methanol and chelates it form the body. Its near impossible to get so much methanol during distillation that it causes a problem.

Re: I just had an interesting encounter.
Several years ago I was out doing some yard work and drinking a beer at my place when a drone started flying and hovering directly above me. I flipped it the bird, it left. A bit later it showed up again. I flipped it the bird again and gave it a “cheers” with my beer. It left again. A little later...

Re: I just had an interesting encounter.
I was playing with my drone a few weeks back doing the same. My neighbor came out and says, “New toy?” With a big smile on his face. I guess HE doesn’t have crap to hide… There are idiots everywhere, just ignore the attitude. If I’d had your experience I don’t think I would have even bothered to an...

I just had an interesting encounter.
I bought a drone, a pretty nice one with a camera gimbal, gps and all of the bells and whistles. It records in 4k and you can fly it from the screen alone and will operate up to 6km from the transmitter. I thought it would be cool to get an aerial view over my shop so I brought it in today and my bu...

Re: You ever read something from a supposed "expert"...
What makes something bad or good is just the intent of the human using it. And just a small correction, I am not taking advantage of an industry. While some are sitting around badmouthing technology based on some Neanderthal leftover DNA in their brain we run a contract with a company monitoring an...

I like it, but I dont get the price justification. Even if some guy sat there and hand filed it painstakingly from a one piece billet, they'd still be hard pressed to ask that price. I dont get it.

Zorba, I have no issue with you. The thing i dont understand is why you blame the product. I dont blame the product (phones, social media, internet, etc..) no more than I blame drugs that the drug users use and allow to destroy their lives. Wambli would be a fool to not take advantage of an industry...

Re: You ever read something from a supposed "expert"...
My dad would have lost his shìt if he were alive to see us going cashless. He was old school and didn't even have a card of any kind. I personally keep cash on hand in my wallet (like Wambli) incase of an emergency but prefer card. I'm a little bit of a germaphobe and can't stand touching cash. I ca...

One of today's tasks. I haven't done an M16 extractor on a 700 bolt in a while. What a PITA compared to a Sako extractor. Either one are heads above the garbage riveted ones that they have been using forever. This style is plentiful although it'll last forever anyways. *I apparently need to do some ...

This isnt a dig at anyone or any age group, just a thought. I'm considered a "geriatric millennial 😆." I just missed being gen X. I got to grow up mostly before internet, with internet and now the invent of AI. I wonder what future tech will come about thats able to fool me when I'm older...

I used to think that maybe we are advancing too fast as a civilization, and then i remembered that we went from the Wright Brothers first flight to landing on the moon in 60 something years. I dont think tech is advancing too fast. I think people are just dumbing down and not keeping up (as demonstr...

Re: You ever read something from a supposed "expert"...
Yep, and it'll only get worse. The internet as a whole has been the downslide of humanity and I'm glad that it wasn't a thing until I was nearly an adult. At least I had a normal childhood. Most of these kids today are so much more likely to sit in the house that when some of them do try to enjoy ou...

AI is definitely not going anywhere. Hell, doctors use it in their office and ChatGpt was able to find an answer to a health issue of mine that's been stumping quite a few doctors. Pretty frustrating to have gone to lord knows how many specialists only for a free app to figure it out instantly.

Oh I’m quite Ok with it. I just wondered what all the options were. So now I’m really thinking .32 H&R might be the ticket for a cool little walkabout rifle. Maybe a 20” tapered octagon tube? Or half octagon, half round? Is the forend inleted at all? Got a chance to check today. The forearm is ...

I for one will be jealous if you build a .32 mag single shot  Been on my want list for ever. Any .32 mag rifle for that matter. There is a .32 rimfire locally that just begs for a conversion to .32 mag just don't know about the feasibility. I'd love that since I'm reloading 32 rimfire now....

Re: Not ready for unveiling, at the planing/build stage...
Update. It is indeed a centerfire configuration. I'm also thinking that its already hardened and tempered because of the parts fitment to the receiver. Typically the hardening process causes warpage so they leave things a bit smaller for hand fitment but everything seems to fit really really nicely...
