I was thinking 6mm CM. But that's because I already load it.

So that's the current "I'm keeping this thing forever" vehicle.

Nice!

Re: SA Heatseeker pistol

One of the milder 6mm offerings would be more interesting to me. But I understand why they went with .308 since they already have the rifle variant in.308.

SA Heatseeker pistol

Interesting, but I don't know that it's $2k interesting. Like most of the recent SA offerings it seems to be significantly over priced for what it is. After the new wears off there might be some deals to be had. I wish PSA would get on a project like this. https://www.guns.com/news/2026/04/19/new-sp...

I've been running CM in my .308 Win for a while now. Everybody knows the CM stuff is faster and better.

Neat pistols. I had a couple similar that I ended up selling to a collector that had more use for them than I did.

Wouldn't say I watched it. Had it on in background and wondered why the American SB show was in Spanish without at least the courtesy of subtitles!

Re: .300 BO - Why?

I have a .300 Whisper that I inherited. It has a beast of a suppressor that basically wraps over the barrel. Whisper quiet 240 gr subsonic rounds that are fun to shoot inside 200 yards.

Yeah, but you need to factor in the initial cost of the whole house genset. About $10k+ assuming you don't install yourself.

Re: Who all is in the path of this weekend's "Winter Storm?"

Can you have your generator connected to natural gas? That never goes out, runs out or gets old. Propane is another option. Yes. Mine runs on LP, but NG is the best option. Only downside is the bill when that sucker runs at 2-3 gallons per hour. Assuming my genset burns 2.5 gallons of LP per hour m...

Re: Who all is in the path of this weekend's "Winter Storm?"

Still have power. I’ve contacted a nearby company that sells and installs whole house generators. I’ve been thinking about it for awhile but this storm, plus my wife mentioned it Last week, has made me look in to it. My son and family live in an all electric house. They were here with their 3yo and...

You don't have decent / good wired service out there? Heck, our place in the mountains north of ATL gets 1 gig service for $75 / month.

North GA expecting 1-2" ice. I doubt it because I invested in a whole house genset a year ago and will likely never lose power again.

They have world class customer service. I had a couple that weren't running well and drove to their HQ near ATL during Covid. They sent an armorer to my vehicle in parking lot, took guns inside for a bit, and came back all fixed.

Help with suppressor selection

Casually looking to buy a suppressor but my casual interest turns to spending pretty quickly sometimes. The SilencerCo Scythe-Ti has caught my eye but I'm definitely open to others products. Use will be multi platform ranging from ARs chambered in 5.56, 6mm AR, etc. and bolt rifles such as .223, 6 C...
