Mood for the day......

My wife likes black raspberry jam. Another Amish family on the other side of town has those (plus blackberries, red raspberries, and blueberries). Two or three more weeks until they're ready.

A friend in high school had a '65. He would occasionally have to get out and beat the shifter linkage with a hammer.

Of course I did cheat for some strawberry shortcake. Didn't add sugar to the strawberries but I'm sure the butter recipe yellow cake has a bit.

That time of year again. My wife and I (mostly her) did 30 pints of low sugar strawberry jam. Used one cup of sugar instead of seven with low sugar sure gel.
