Been there far too many times, and will undoubtedly be there again. You did well with 17 - that's seemed to be a milestone in our family that a lot make it to, but few make it past. My Mom recently let go a couple of littermates she had for nearly 21 years.

It sucks. A lot of those little furballs are better people than people.
WWJMBD?

I believe we should stand on Ceremony. . . while our friends handcuff the sanctimonious little prick and take him away.

I like my cat more than 90% of the people I know. She’s only been around 3 or so months, and I’m NOT a cat person. Well, wasn’t…a cat person.

Sorry to hear kitty passed on.

My wifes cat is 18 and mine is 16. Hoping they have a few more in them. Still not over the last one I had put down.

Sorry about the loss of your cat.
I was never a cat person till I had one dropped off in my garage one cold evening. He was maybe 5 weeks old and I can't imagine not having him now.
