New Winchester.22lr levergun
I just read that Winchester debuted a new .22lr levergun at the shot show. With an MSRP of 419.99, I think that they will sell a few. If I didn't already have a Henry, I would have one ordered by now. Hopefully in a year or two they will make it in .22mag and I will snag one.

I wonder where they had these made? The wildcats are Turkish made, I’d bet these are too by the looks…..

What safety?

He says there will be multiple models coming. A 16'' barrel and drilled for a Williams peep instead of scope grooves would be harder to pass on.....

Saw a video and it looked like it had a Marlin style cross bolt safety. I could be wrong.jbp-ohio wrote: ↑Mon Jan 29, 2024 12:45 amWambli Ska wrote: ↑Sun Jan 28, 2024 10:40 pm Why did they put a freaking safety on the damn thing!!!!

Pin for a bolt/lever stop, and a pin for take down.

Re: New Winchester.22lr levergun
I own one of the original 94/22's. Nice little gun but it won't function with shorts with a habit of jamming with the spent cases falling back inside the action every fourth or fifth shot so just use with LR's and Longs. With a red dot sight on it it is good for small vermin. The takedown screw has a habit of working loose so needs to be kept an eye on. Sometimes gets used rat shooting with CCI shot cartridges. Had it for some years and quite like it.
