New rifle. Tikka T1x 22 cal

I assume the rule " You cant have enough 22 cal rifles' applies here......
Bought a T1X 22 cal to use as a dedicated thermal rifle.
The only optic that this will see is the Pulsar XP 50 Pro so I bought a Contessa Rail to mount the Pulsar on.
Package so far is
T1x 22 cal, 20" barrel threaded 1/2x20 for suppressor
2x 10 shot mags
Contessa Pic rail
Slip on recoil pad (small)
DPT Modular Rimfire suppressor ( I also have a DPT Modular 22 cal centrefire suppressor that will fit)
5 bricks CCI 40gr subsonic rds

Slip on recoil pad you ask?
I find the T1x stocks a little bit short for me and the small slip on pad fits snugly/tight and gives me the perfect stock length. Bonus is that its a hell of a lot cheaper than buying the Tikka stock spacers
Put the thermal on it last trip to the horse farm intending to sight it in...but due to 'weather issues' I only had time to fire 2 shots before torrential rain came. Both shots were within an inch at 75metres using a fence post as a rest and with the factory set trigger pull.

Full range report to follow when the weather settles down.
Initial impressions are that it feels and handles like a full sized Tikka....smooth bolt, crisp trigger ( needs lightening though) cycles effortlessly, mags easy to load, handles exactly the same as my T1x in 17HMR. With the rimfire suppressor it goes Pffft.
Do I get a prize for posting up the first 'new firearm post' ???

Might have to wait awhile unfortunately......Weather is crap over here at the moment ( Winter). Taken the rifle to the range 3 times now and each time the wind has been gusty up to 35knots and heavy showers/rain.
To give you an idea of how bad it is, while feeding the horses yesterday I passed up a chance at 2 large fallow bucks with the 204.
The shot would have been a cinch at 160m under normal circumstances but with a cross wind blowing at over 40knots and rain plus the deer being in a clearing surrounded by heavy bush, the odds for a clean kill were against me.
