Trump trial

Post by Kansashunter »

For those that don't know I am not a Trumper but I can't get my head around this NY decision. I have never borrowed a million dollars but I have gotten commercial loans. I have to fill out a finacial statement and put values on anything I own. The bank also puts a value on everything. The only time I have heard of people getting into trouble is claiming things they don't own and even then nothing happens unless you don't pay back the bank. I have heard nothing that Trump didn't repay the loans. This has me upset.

His paper work tells them to not go by the Trump co numbers but to value the property themselves and there were no injured parties, all loans were repaid on time.

Trump is not my favorite guy either, but what is happening to him in the courts, in plain view of everyone and even being reported is scary. A regular everyday person would not stand a chance against this depth of corruption.

Was not a fan, though he did OK in office. However this should scare the crap out of everyone. Beyond the fact that there is no injured party there is no evidence and only a judges opinion, his kids are banned from doing biz in NY and they are not and have never been on any of the transactions. Also on top of that the appellate court (above this "judge" ) already told the "judge" that anything before 2014 was past the stat of limitations months ago, he used it anyway.
BTW this wasnt a trial. The judge decided he was guilty months ago. This was just the sentencing.

It will be reversed on appeal and they will then pay his legal fees.
