Got to love cleaning out the "Man cave"

Post by GrapeApe »

I'm finding all sorts of things I'd forgotten about. I mentioned the Timney AR trigger in another thread. Came across 2 LARGE bags of 10mm empties. IIRC Big Chief gave me one and NN gave me the other, both at Jerry's YEARS ago.

Also 3x 250count bags of brand new LC surplus 5.56 brass. Going to take a while to get it all trimmed, chamfered, deburred and primed once I get done with the clean up.

I have another set of HD shelves to put in there, once I make room. Then I'll move everything off my current set and replace the thin plywood shelving with something sturdier. The weight of all the assorted bullets, ammunition and dies are making the current crap sag horribly. The shelve are rated at 500# per shelf, but they LIED.

Back to the exploring :D

It is amazing what can be found while doing cleaning. Sometimes its finding multiple sets of dies for the same cartridge. Not sure who needs 3 sets of 7mm-08 Hornady dies, but somehow thats what I ended up with.

LOL You can set the sizers up for different chambers and the seater for different loads. OR, just have plenty of spare parts if you break something, stick a case etc.

My man cave is my garage right now where everything but firearms is being rediscovered, sorted and decisions are being made on future. I had to alarm the garage as well as the house with door sensors, motion sensors and a camera 🤣🤣🤣
