Any one who doesn't vote has no business discussing politics at all, or believing everything is just going to be fine.

Since no one I wanted to vote for was still in the primary, you'll have to explain that one to me.

General election? I agree, you don't vote, you take who gets elected.

I wanted someone other than "cheesus" to top the GOP ticket, but there wasn't a choice I could hold my nose and vote for left on the ballot.

False.

If there is not what I believe to be a suitable candidate to vote for, I won’t vote for them. I’ve cast my “lesser evil”
vote for the last time.
Consequences be damned. Pretty sure we will survive, since “this is the most important election EVER!” has been droned on about since I was old enough to vote and I’d wager since before I was born.
Yet….here we are.

If I’m wrong, I’ll at least enjoy watching this mother **** burn to the ground. 🤘

There would be no lesser evil choices if everyone did their research and voted correctly in the primaries...

I think it is your responsibility to participate, to make a decision and vote, hold your nose if you must, you have lots of company

I'm OK with non-voters staying home on election day.

Makes my vote count all the more.

When it comes to deciding who will hold political office, feel free to sit it out. We the voters will let you know what decision we made.

And you, like the rest of us, will live with it.

A jury summons has nothing to do with being a registered voter nor whether you vote or not. Potential jurors are summoned based on driver’s license and other government data bases. RE tax, state and federal tax returns, etc.

Interesting. I was under the impression that it was due to being registered to vote. Either way, I'll sit it out until we have candidates that are worth a damn.

I voted for someone who dropped out of the primary before I could cast my vote. I wanted to express my dissatisfaction with what was left.

Remember you are voting for this:

“Take the guns first, go through due process second,” Trump said.

And this has zero to do with guns in my mind. His tyrannical attitude could be applied to any right.

I’ll be happy to watch the forest I can’t see through 🙄 burn right along with the world before I vote for DJT.

There is that.

But while I am try to see the forest you all are arguing over who is better, the gasoline or the match.

Who is responsible for the forest burning again?

The forest was shrinking but the trees kept voting for the axe. For the axe was clever and convinced the trees that because his handle was wood he was one of them

Gila made enough sense that I felt compelled to say so. Great summary statement and a clear description of the state of the country 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

That I consider several of the other posts really stupid still stands.
