I guess I'm just a puss but I think years of one party demonizing the other with a "Take no prisoner" attitude and implying or actually saying "People who don't think like us don't deserve to live"... all of that anger contributed to pushing that kid over the edge.

I'm 62. I witnessed a better time when people used their words to make an intelligent point and not simply throw verbal bombs.
I think we'd al be better off with a little more of that but I'm not holding my breath.

I have just a couple years on you (65) and totally agree. The political TV commercials are out of hand. Can't count how many times I said don't tell me hiw bad the other guy is, tell me what you plan to do

Can't you post about a recent shop project?
Eventually.

But, I still enjoy watching/making fun of the insanity of politician worship like they are a deity. Like they are going to save them from the evils of the world.

It’s like people who believe strippers actually love them when they give them money.
Wait, what? You mean they don't?!

Didn’t say that. I Said if you ink a political figure on your body you’re insane. And should take a toaster bath. Or whatever method you choose.

True, BUT..... that's a good reason to make sure a tattoo is something about yourself that can't change. And besides that, these bodies are pretty temporary anyway. I'll go someday and then see yall again in the maternity ward.

Just for you Chris.
Yeah poking his head up multiple times for photo ops was incredibly brilliant, especially since they (obviously) weren’t sure if the shooter was alone.

And, here’s a meme for you.

I'm disappointed Chris, your TDS has led you to think that someone showing courage is stupid. I wish you the best with your future.

They stood him up after the security people announced "shooters down, we're clear". If he would have stayed on the ground longer, you'd be posting "Cheeto Jesus is gutless, he was afraid to get up after it was clear".

Incorrect, but think it if you want.

Let’s assume he was potus at the time, I’d be applauding him for keeping his head down as the leader of the free world not risking getting JFK’d. Not risking his head for glamor shots. Hell I’d applaud him for that now.

And after the SS allowed (figuratively speaking) a punk ass kid to crawl on the roof and get off multiple shots before getting involuntarily Kurt Cobain’d…do you really, honestly, think you’d trust them when they say it’s clear? They didn’t know the dirtbag was on the roof, so they for god damn sure couldn’t be positive he was alone. Think about it harder, an UNTRAINED KID was an inch away from assassinating a former POTUS/POTUS candidate. Yet…you’d trust them?

I mean, did you even watch Fatty Mclardass sweeping the crowd with her Glock as she tried to holster? You’d be confident with her and her other diversity and inclusion hires telling you it’s clear?

If so, you need to smoke another one. 🤣

No there is a fourth group.

The ones that can clearly and objectively look at the 4 years under a Trump Presidency and make an easy decision that my life was much better with him as a President because inflation was manageable, illegal immigration was getting under control, Foreign leaders were paying attention, my 401K was growing, the country was energy independent, my kids in the military were taken care of, my wife's uncle in a VA Hospital was getting great care... I could be here all day counting positives. And under Biden it has all gone to SHlT and I can't think of ONE positive thing he's done for me or the country... and this group doesn't care about stupid stuff like bumpstocks, mean tweets or the fact that he paid Hillary to come to his wedding.

I have democratic friends who only watch CNN, ABC, CBS and NBC, and take every word they say as gospel. They have no idea what's going on, much less what facts are. They vote the democratic ticket across the board every election, mostly because their parents did, and are completely close-minded to hearing any other views on anything. They are the ones who need to have their eyes opened...

I have republican friends that only watch Fox News and take every word they says as gospel. They only vote straight republican ticket because any republican is better than a democrat.

I'm going to start with the conspiracies:

"They" (there's always a they) knew what the kids plans were and stood down to allow it to happen. Once he miffed it up, they had to swoop in or else it would have been even more painfully obvious that it was allowed.

I was on the city council many years ago. The mayor at the time was in my opinion a giant douche. He brought something up in city council one time that I fought against simply because it was his idea and he’s an idiot. A mentor so to speak asked me what about the policy/plan I did not agree with. After getting past the “well he’s an idiot” phase I came to realize his plan was actually a pretty good one. It was pointed out to me I was voting against the man not the policy/plan. The plan was a solid one no matter who came up with it. So when it came time to vote I voted yes surprised a lot of people. Taught me a lesson in life there’s a lot of people I dislike but I need to take my personal feeling out of it and look at the bigger picture. Do I like Trump as a person nope, but the bigger picture is personally and my business were much better under his administration. So who am I voting for, Trump the person, or his policies/plan. I’ve gotten to the point that I think not voting for someone because “I don’t like him” is frankly childish and short sighted.
