The weekend we picked was unbeknownst to us the same weekend as a fishing tournament, our guide was not happy when we got out to the fishing spot and realized there were a bunch of non charter boats out there, we pulled up and moved and lost fifteen minutes and that is a big deal at sunrise, we were up at 2:30 am to get to the marina so we could be in position, there was a serious pissing match going on over the radio between 2 captains fishing close to one another, so we had some entertainment

One of the joys of skippering a charter boat.....Had the same thing about 15yrs ago, 2 skippers having a go at each other while we were attempting to cross back over the bar in marginal conditions....I couldnt get a word in on the coastguard channel. Got a small break between the 2 and I told them to either get a divorce or get a room......Radio went dead silent so I could notify Coastguard of our bar crossing........Coastguard called me back, acknowledged my bar call and thanked me for shutting them up...

I was kind of hoping they would be back at our dock when we got back into port...

Alec, I said "Nice rack" to one of the wife's female friends.... IN FRONT of the wife, without getting slapped.
She had just brought a nice 10 or 12 pt to the barn though

I have no idea why they walk where they walk. It’s a bean field. It’s all the same. But, this big bastard always follows the same path. Juuuuuusssst on the edge of camera range.
