Well I went 4 in a row today at 100 with my 44 special Bisley on a 12” steel plate. Six sighters, then 4 in a row….. I missed the other 2. Sako will verify….. 🤣

Elk
You, that Ruger, and the special recipe on the ammo box are all working great! Excellent shooting!

4 out of 6 is good shooting!
Would something like this give a more repeatable sight pic?

Maybe but the rest of the sight would cover the target. The picture was/is my 25 yard and 100 yard sight picture. Seeing the target is where it’s at…. It was sure fun giving it a go! Discontinued bullet with discontinued powder with a “outdated” cartridge…..fun times
The red is the 100 yard target hold

I was trying to dial in a Sharps rifle and the damn steel constantly clanging next to me was very distracting 😂
But yes, I can validate the claim. Show off😝

Just one additional thought
The 1 hand bullseye position has a longer eye to front sight distance than a two hand position resulting in the front sight obscuring less of the target.

I'll tell you what's fun. I used to shoot my 45 ACP at 100 yds. 200 gr. semi wadcutter. First thing in the morning at sunrise. The sunlight would glint off of the back of the bullet. You could follow it from the gun to the target like a tracer. You could just walk your shots to the target.
