Mine are red but not Milwaukee.....

I get them when they have BOGO specials. I wish they would come out a backpack leaf blower that used two or three batteries for more POWER!

Re: Dedicated Meme Thread
I’m Dewalt. Cause I’m too cheap to go Makita but I use Milwaukee bits and blades
Re: Dedicated Meme Thread
I was Dewalt. Cause I got a free hand me down from work.
Hated it, the chuck was garbage. But it was older, so I can’t complain.
Then was Makita. Cause I got a free hand more down from work.
Now I’m Milwaukee. Because that’s what we use at work, and when a guy left we all pilfered his tools and I snagged a shiny new Milwaukee drill and driver and it accidentally ended up
In my garage.

I have all the Craftsman 19.2 tools you can think of including a chain saw. It was what I started with as a home owner, we used Dewalt at work. I have a 4 battery charger and 5 batteries. I used them for 6 months when I was flipping homes between jobs and they worked great, the chain saw and vacuum will amaze you. I just couldn't justify having multiple batteries and chargers and I always have a fresh battery when I need it. My lawn and garden tools are Black and Decker 40 volt, lawn mower, weed Wacker, blower, hedge trimmer, and snow blower that works very well.
Re: Dedicated Meme Thread
I still have a few 19.2 tools. The batteries finally started going bad after 10-20 years. Got some cheapo replacement and they are junk. Then I found an adapter to the new 20V lithium batteries I have now.Freezer wrote: ↑Thu Nov 28, 2024 11:00 pm I have all the Craftsman 19.2 tools you can think of including a chain saw. Yea, I got some junk from Amazon too. I didn't test them until their warranty ran out. Once burned... I will need 5 adapters and 5 batteries. I may consider that in the future as I have at least 25 tools for that system but for now I'm good.

My first wife bought me a Craftsman 1/2 impact. I think it was rated at 300ft lbs of torque. It worked great to take off 2 wheels then the nicad battery was dead. It stayed in the toolbox for years until I realized that Amazon had a set of 2 lithium ion batteries and a charger for the 19.2 volt tools. Now it has about 400ft lbs of torque and will last all week on one battery, using it in place of my pneumatic impact all day long. I love that thing. As for around the house tools, drill, jig saw, circular, etc... I have Black And Decker. They're cheap and seem to work well for wha little wood butchering i do.
Re: Dedicated Meme Thread
I have the same one, I loved it when working on my car. I wanted the ratchet but quit working on cars. I never did buy the radio either.
Re: Dedicated Meme Thread
I have DeWalt and Craftsman. I still have a bunch of old 18v DeWalt tools that I started with years ago. Drills, sawzall, circular saw, 1/2” impact and probably some Im forgetting. Then started into 20v lithium tools and got the adapter to use the 20v batteries on the 18v tools. Works great. I don’t have to start over buying new tools. The 20v hammer drill is a beast. Wrist and drill bit breaker.. I got the 50k BTU propane heater that can run on 20v batteries or plug into an outlet. That thing puts out a lot of heat. Awesome for heating up my shop, then let the mini split maintain from there. One I don’t use often, but is great when I do need it is the deep cut bandsaw. Great for cutting metal.
I also have some Craftsman 20v. I got my dads Craftsman drill after he passed and started adding tools to that since you can find great deals on them sometimes. Now have the drill, pole chainsaw, leaf blower, palm sander, jigsaw and impact driver.
I built my entire shop, installed all the electrical, lighting, ceiling fans, built shelves and work benches, everything, using nothing but my cordless tools. Couldn’t do without them.
