Worth every minute of it.
Re: New orleans
Solid meh.
Skip to 1:13 to hear a vague warning about attacks on US soil.
That info was purposefully shoved at the end to keep viewers on the hook. Had I not been listening while driving I could have scrubbed through to get to the pertinent info.
But, the TLDW is this :
The US government is funding terrorist groups, congress doesn’t care, and some woman that says basically WAY to many times while she’s speaking is smarter than most of our intelligence.
Also terrorists hate us, and will attack us.
A great big nothing burger, and nothing new under the sun. Just remember, stay strapped or get clapped.

Here's her on another podcast, just a quick clip. But this may be the point of it all?
I dunno, I don't listen to podcasts. I have a hard time finding a spare hour in my day to listen to one.

Re: New orleans
So... about the Trump Tower guy....
https://nypost.com/2025/01/02/us-news/c ... s-sources/
Initially, Twitter was awash with he and his wife's name, saying they were anti-Trump. Maybe she is? I dunno.
Right now, this doesn't make a lot of sense. I find it hard to believe a Green Beret would build a crappy bomb out of gasoline, camp fuel, and fireworks unless a crappy bomb was the goal. But why commit suicide, unless he's that distraught about his wife leaving him? And if it's for personal reasons, why in front of the Trump tower? Especially if you're a Trump supporter. And why have multiple firearms if you plan on just killing yourself? Just all seems weird. But, suicide isn't always a rational act, at least from some of the people I know who've committed suicide.

Re: New orleans
I guess the difference between meh and omg is whether it is true or not.
She makes bold claims
"Bold claims require bold evidence" is the philosophical razor I believe.
She offers little in the way of hard evidence, and is trying to sell a book. Both are strikes.
She has been there and done that which could be a plus. Time will tell.
I have a very simple rule for who I trust anymore.
Are they right? If they are I keep listening. If they are wrong f em I will never listen again no matter how much they pander to my worldview. Too many people pandering for power or money anymore.
Time will tell. I hope she falls in the f em category because if she is right.... no good
Re: New orleans
Let’s assume she’s 100% correct in everything? Now what? What can I do?
“Mr or Mrs elected public servant, I’d appreciate your help in investigating allegations that my tax dollars are being used to fund terrorism worldwide, and especially here in the USA.
Thanks in advance for your help!
CPJ”
Yep. That’s it.
As to the terror threats/attacks, what can I do?
fudge all on a big boat. Not one god damned thing. Other than just sitting around waiting for it to happen.
Which, is exactly what I’ve done since 9/11. Not going tk change my lifestyle, which I avoid places that would be considered targets anyway, because those places contain something equally as frightening to me.
People. Ewwww.

Lol. I perfectly understand the cynicism. But since you said even if she is 100% right. That would mean 50-60k(doubt it). That is OMG even if there isn't a damn thing you can do about it.

Re: New orleans
The wife read something (maybe Shawn Ryan related) sharing something along the lines of the guy in the Tesla was already dead when it was driven (remotely) to Trump Tower. I love a good conspiracy but at this point it's just because I have zero trust or faith in government or authority. If they say it's raining I assume the sky is clear and the sun is out.

So when asked a question, she’d start answering, then take off on another tangent about another topic before actually answering the question. It’s an hour of my life I won’t get back.Zsarvashere wrote: ↑Fri Jan 03, 2025 6:02 pmI guess the difference between meh and omg is whether it is true or not.

I’m not one to deep dive into conspiracies, even though I’ve read the pentagon papers…
But, I can tell you without a single doubt in the very fiber of my body, that Green Beret did not conduct the attack.
There is way too much wrong with the “evidence” presented. From the selection of vehicle, method of explosives, to the email and reasons. None of it adds up. Not a single bit.
