Mounting a scope

Post by jwv2023 »

This is not for everyone here because most have been mounting scopes and have their ways of doing it. I was mounting the scope on my new CZ457. I decided to use the CZ mounts. There is a 11mm dovetail on the receiver and these mounts are perfect for it. One thing I was surprised to see was ledger marks on the rings, so that they could always be oriented the same. Another thing that I do is to put a very light coat of gasket sealer on the inside of the rings to keep it put while mounting it.
