The funky gunstore finds as of late

Post by JunkCollector »

For those that enjoy such things.
A week or two ago.... some 257 weatherby ammo
20 a box hey I have one of those.
Didnt really need more but hey can't pass up a deal.

Yesterday some lanyards 2 for 10 bucks.
Saw the 17 patent and took a chance yup for a 1917
Have one of those too.

30-40 krag paper bullets.....sure

Finding 2 original WW1 lanyards was certainly different even here.

The lanyard is very cool, does it reduce a period stocks value if you install the lanyard?

It could if it messes up the wood and the stocks are in great condition
That particular set is worth north of 250.
So I'm leary of using one much.
There were actually 2
Looked them up and they go for 100-150 so definitely a good deal on them

I've run across a box of those rolled paper bullet Krag blanks oncest myself. That takes paper patching to a bit of an extreme, but a pretty cool idea.
WWJMBD?

I believe we should stand on Ceremony. . . while our friends handcuff the sanctimonious little prick and take him away.
