I’m “only” 50. 50 WAS old AF when I was 20.
Now not so much. I also have taken on the habits/mindset of a coworker who retired a few years back. I used to think he was just old and cranky. Now, I’m old and cranky. I see WHY guys get cranky as they age. I think Gen X will be the best cranky old bastards that have ever cranky old bastarded. At least I’ll do my part.
I am FULLY leaning into old mandom. No sense waiting.
I'm 64, retired 2 years ago, and I'm literally wearing a t shirt that says "Get Off My Lawn".
Somewhat embarrassing because it kinda also shows a sillouhet of an M1 Garand with a pistol grip.

Its simple really. My GAS factor has hit zero, and my BS detector is hyper sensitive.
