South paw revolver holster
South paw revolver holster
I was at the LGS and saw a very nice left handed holster. Its been sitting on the counter for a while but I never had my phone with me. If any south paws are interested PM me.
Re: South paw revolver holster
Any idea what it fits? Price? I have a wrong handed daughter that would like that.

That's what I was thinking too. Eldest has a real nice 4" model 10 from my dad.

Search engines are a wonderful thing.
Looks like it fits a Colt Diamondback.

9mm kills the body, but .45 ACP destroys the soul!

That's what I found also. I was shocked to see how little holsters are worth.

Re: South paw revolver holster
Leather in general has fallen out of favor since everyone wants Kydex now. And Kydex has reached absolutely ridiculous prices considering how cheap the stuff is and how little actual effort/time it takes to stamp out a Kydex and plastic holster.
This is, by the way, a great opportunity for folks that like classic guns and classic leather to acquire some superb goods!
Don’t get me wrong, I’m not trading out my EDC AIWB modern guns riding in Kydex gear anytime soon, I know the advantages and I’m not willing to give them up. But damn it feels great (to me) to strap on a NICE cross-draw leather rig with an old school SA or S&W wheel gun when I’m headed out to the middle of nowhere in my Jeep!!!
So if you share my tastes this is bonanza time

When I'm hunting my Security Six rides in a cop holster. It's designed to be drawn easily, is outside of my coat and rides well.
I have a nice western tie down for my Single Six, and Bianchi for my PA 63.

This is one of my relatively recent eBay scores. Custom rig, brand new never worn by original owner, and it fits my Ruger original Vaquero 5.5” stainless in .44 mag perfectly! Super comfortable even while driving. I love this rig.
Just picked this one up for my new 7.5” .357 mag SAs.

There is nothing like good leather in my opinion. The composites have there place no doubt. In my recent search for a holster to fit my Ruger American,
I discovered a Galco model that is leather with composite retention bits and I really like it.
That's an El paso Saddlery that my Ruger Security six rides in the photo Wambli posted above. never knew of them until Elk Creek introduced me to them, now, I seek them out.

Elk creek just said to me, “You probably have more EPS leather than their showroom.”.sakodude wrote: ↑Mon Oct 27, 2025 2:21 am There is nothing like good leather in my opinion. The composites have there place no doubt. In my recent search for a holster to fit my Ruger American,
