Re: The last person to post in this thread don’t get nothing.
Complaint number 5002 about my house and the previous, idiot homeowner that half-assed everything:
He built and wired the garage and ran a sub panel to it. He ran and powered the sub panel with 1 wire (2 legs, neutral and ground) that is 14 gauge. It powered:
240v pool pump outlet.
110 gazebo outlet
4 gang 110 outlet in garage
All garage lighting
Garage door opener
I'm putting in a 240 heater and now have to redo all of the wiring and it's not going to fit in the conduit buried underground that runs under the concrete pad between the garage and house

How did the house pass inspection when you purchased it?

Re: The last person to post in this thread don’t get nothing.
I didnt get a home inspection. I thought they were a waste of money from the first experience I had with a home inspection buying my first home. The guy glanced over everything and tested nothing so I thought they were just a money grab/scam because that house also had ALOT wrong with it.
Re: The last person to post in this thread don’t get nothing.
I bought a house and electrical inspection was done, found wires in attic twisted together and taped with masking tape. Was not in a junction box, just laying on a stud.

This should be fun. It's based off an article in a reloading magazine. 9mm shotshells that actually cycle semi autos, made from 223 brass.

That would be cool, range report!

Reminds me of this article Scott Mayer wrote. He said his .45 shells didn't always cycle, but 9mm may be different.
Interested in your results.

Since those dies are no discontinued and used one are STUPID expensive, if you can find anyone willing to sell theirs, there's an old, 15 page thread on CastBoolits from a member named Grumpa about making 45 shotshells using other dies for forming the casesbreamfisher wrote: ↑Fri Dec 05, 2025 2:40 pm

Re: The last person to post in this thread don’t get nothing.
Well, they didn't cycle my glock but I didn't do as heavy of a crimp as the guy in the video did so after 2 failing to cycle, I figure I'll go home tonight and crimp them as much as he did. 2.4 grains of tite group still seems like a small charge for what is essentially a 100 grain projectile, but what do I know.
Oh, and I learned that it would be much easier to prime and charge the cases, place first wad and then form the neck because it's hard to not distort the .355 cardboard wad past the .32 caliber opening.

Grumpa came to the same conclusion with the 45ACP ones as well. To get around that in the 45s I plan on making, I bought a bag of BPI "Stump 36" gas seals. I can cut them in half and get 2 for 1 shot cups for the 45. I also bought another 10# bag of #12 shot to load in them. #12 might not be great for anything large, or at much distance, but it will absolutly "Switch off" a snake at "danger close"Justsomedude wrote: ↑Fri Dec 05, 2025 7:59 pm

Nope. Still have all but probably 10 rounds of it. But I remembered it the other day, there may be a clandestine pigeon relocation project at my cousins barn this winter.

I can make a simple die that does that necking. I'm actually using the one that I made for my 32naa to do the necking on these and it works perfect.GrapeApe wrote: ↑Fri Dec 05, 2025 6:24 pmSince those dies are no discontinued and used one are STUPID expensive, if you can find anyone willing to sell theirs, there's an old, 15 page thread on CastBoolits from a member named Grumpa about making 45 shotshells using other dies for forming the casesbreamfisher wrote: ↑Fri Dec 05, 2025 2:40 pm

I just looked up those stump wads. Why do they make them like that, back to back? I'm trying to envision the purpose of them being like that but I can see your use for them. That'll work great.GrapeApe wrote: ↑Fri Dec 05, 2025 9:36 pmGrumpa came to the same conclusion with the 45ACP ones as well. If you make ONE for 45, let me know if you're willing to make a second one, and how much it's going to cost meJustsomedude wrote: ↑Sat Dec 06, 2025 12:03 am

Depending on the cost, I'd be interested in a 223/9mm die, if you make any

Im assuming you mean to make the 45 shot shells? If so, what size do they need necked down to?GrapeApe wrote: ↑Mon Dec 08, 2025 10:32 pmIf you make ONE for 45, let me know if you're willing to make a second one, and how much it's going to cost meJustsomedude wrote: ↑Sat Dec 06, 2025 12:03 am
