The rig is a Bianchi Frontier Leather belt and holster that I got at different times. They claim they made the originals for The Duke and even sell commemoratives in sets that are rather pricey. Now other companies claim the same, notably EPS and it could be true since over the years Mr. Wayne wore a few different variations (and sizes
) of this setup. Actually I have an EPS rig somewhere in my packed boxes too but as much as I love EPS stuff this is actually higher quality.In any case I got fake ivory one piece grips fitted to one of my 4.5” SA guns and here she is finally finished. I need to get the grips to go a little yellow like his originals but this is close enough for my purposes. It now goes witha few others like the Indiana Jones 1917 and the 1876 45-60 musket in the movie guns collection. Now I need a large loop ‘92 Saddle ring carbine to go with it
