UM are you sure that is corn? It's a little hard to tell from a picture but that stuff on the right looks like something else.

I am sure the boys swing by and leave them a message

It's encouraging to see a lot of the old members here.

Sometimes being a city boy sucks. Thanks to the Kansas member I learned that 80% of my corn was actually Johnson grass. Wouldn't be the first time that I was nurturing a freaking weed and it isn't fun to uproot when it's 6' tall and established. At least the rest of the garden is getting good sunlight now.

I didn't know if johnson grass lived in your part of the world but I thought that was it. Now the bad news is it is hard to get rid of. Each little node on the roots will be a new plant and the seeds will come up too. It is something I fight all the time, there are chemicals that will control it but I wouldn't want to use it in the garden. Where did you get the dirt for your garden?

Solar on the camper installed. Mounted it within a piano hinge, made a great way to mount it and allows to change the dangle angle of the panel.
Also got the control panel installed and mostly wired. Need to add the pockets my buddy 3D printed for me.
Sooooo close to being done.

It was the dirt that was already growing our lawn where I tilled for the garden. I think it is what I've been mistaking for crabgrass but kept it mowed down enough to not know any better.Kansashunter wrote: ↑Mon Jul 31, 2023 2:15 am I didn't know if johnson grass lived in your part of the world but I thought that was it. Chris, how much wattage is your solar setup, which looks good btw. I've been considering doing a stand alone setup on the house to cut our bill down. It's about $1000 per kw. Oh, and are you still fleecing widows?

100 watts. Enough to keep the battery charged.Justsomedude wrote: ↑Mon Jul 31, 2023 4:46 am Chris, how much wattage is your solar setup, which looks good btw. Get on the roof naked and show it your butthole. That’s what they are waiting for

Tried but they didn't circle again. Only the neighbors saw it

Re: The last person to post in this thread don’t get nothing.
It was a little cooler today so this evening I shot a few targets. After my boys grew up and moved away and I had some health issues I have gotten out of the habit of shooting much. Oh my I can't shoot for squat. I was never great but now I am terrible. My range has got trees growing in it but I am going to have to clean it up and get back to practicing. Nothing went right, the shadow 2 I just got wouldn't chamber without a tap on the slide. I cleaned and oiled it when I brought it home but I was shooting reloads. I will check it and try some factory ammo and see if that fixes it. Shot the Henry in 22 mag and with my eyes I was struggling to get a good sight picture so I am going to change something not sure what yet. I also shot my 10mm and the recoil was more than I remembered, not bad but it is there. This is my first time shooting a pistol with a red dot, I liked it but I need to shoot it more and it got dark. It was good I learned some things and realized how bad I have gotten.

Get some tannerite and tree removal and target practice will be the same thing

The trees are a little too close to the house for tannerite. I would probably miss the tannerite unless it was a 5 gallon bucket full.

One of my favorite things to watch on the Youtubes. Im not a drummer, but I appreciate talent. And dude has talent. Some of his one handed drumming videos are mind blowing.

You get that all fixed up you won't want to go home.
