9mm Ammo Supply??

Post by Japhy »

The goto local source is unable to restock 9mm 115gr brass. Last price was $233 / case. Last stock is Magtec only.
Several goto online suppliers have no 9mm stock.
I havent checked other calibers.

I use Target Sports USA and I've noticed that my usual isn't in stock, but they do have an acceptable alternative.

After the past 20 yrs ebb and flow…….you'd think folks would learn to stock up and ration as needed. Guess not.

You'd think. Maybe once fired milsurp brass will soon be available again. Buy what's in season, and ration what isn't.

Not lies. More like well intentioned New Year’s resolutions. Always subject to review for ANY reason at all.

It just an interpretation of the English language

Thinning the herd actually means more guns that he shoots less. So each individual gun gets fed less.
Makes perfect sense to me.

Actually I'm shooting more than I ever was before! Having the ability to Jump in my Jeep, drive 5 minutes and have the whole desert to myself is just freaking AWESOME!!!!! Just blew through 100 rounds of 9mm, 50 rounds of .45 Colt, 50 rounds of 44-40 and Just over 50 rounds of 45-70 on my last outing alone. I keep 2 sets of muffs and about 2-300 rounds of ammo that just live on the floorboard just behind the driver seat in my Jeep for shooting sessions of opportunity that just get replenished as needed. Right now I'm trying to burn through a huge stash of old .44 mag reloads that I really just want to empty so I can reload them fresh.

Then again English is my second language so who knows if any of this is making any sense...

😆 Shooting just to get brass to reload. 😆

I've done that...

It's oddly satisfying, no? I grab my Rossi '92 stainless and the companion Ruger stainless "Old" Vaquero 7.5" and nothing in the desert within a few hundred yards form me is safe. Amazing how fast you can burn through ammo when you have a slick lever action that holds 10 shots and also happens to be really accurate and light off-hand.

When I was shooting mostly at a range it was asocial thing many times. Now I shoot a lot by myself and though I’m a rather interesting chap to talk to, I’ve already heard all my stories 🤣

My first language is Spanish, I’m lucky you guys understand anything I say 👍👍👍👍
