Because we need to start with the basics.

A friend of mine once said, “We use 1911s for comps and dog and pony shows. We go to war with a Glock.”

Speaking of the basics
The 1874 Sharps...The gun that made the west safe for Winchester
Re: First Post in Personal Defense Forum
I have one. However..... it's the only pistol in the house that I don't keep a loaded mag in or nearby. Don't even have any SD ammo in .45ACP.

Speaking of Personal Defense. What is the 'Add Friend's and 'Add Foe'?
Re: First Post in Personal Defense Forum
So it would seem to be either a "highlight my friends" or "Mute the folks I don't like"What are my Friends and Foes lists?
You can use these lists to organise other members of the board. Members added to your friends list will be listed within your User Control Panel for quick access to see their online status and to send them private messages. Subject to template support, posts from these users may also be highlighted. If you add a user to your foes list, any posts they make will be hidden by default.

It's kinda nice to be able to ignore the posts of people that won't engage with you.

Soooooo. . .if Bobbert returns, we can mass-mute him and let him keep posting? I wonder how long it would take him to catch on.

Yeah, even me these days, but ROOTS, BABY!
If I have to fix mine, I'm perfectly happy with a 1911. If I have to fix yours, I hope it's a Glock.

More importantly, whats the chances of importing the massive RDS thread from that... other place?

5 pages and 122 posts - at least one of them containing a link back to your earliest thread - a lot of "real time" evolution-in-progress there. Would be good to save it if possible - if it can be done without offending "The Entity".shotgunshooter3 wrote: ↑Fri Jun 23, 2023 6:42 pm More importantly, whats the chances of importing the massive RDS thread from that... other place?

I still love that 1917,

Same. A pipe dream of mine is to find an already butchered M1917 and recreate the Indiana Jones gun, except I'd do mine with faux blue Cerakote for better durability.
