Selling: Cabela's Pietta .3 cal BP 1851 Revolver

Post by Wambli Ska »

Checked with the mods and it's Ok. I'm getting rid of some BP guns and I figured I'd list them here first in case any of you guys are interested. I think I'm pricing them fairly but feel free to PM me if you feel otherwise.

First one, Cabela's 1851 steel framed BP Revolver. 36 cal. Great candidate for a CF cylinder conversion. I've never fired it and it appears unfired. brass could use cleaning but blue and case hardening are in great shape. $275 shipped to you with original box but no papers.

There is that. I’m kinda partial to it’s big cousin the 1860 especially in a 1872 center fire conversion. 😎

I have a thing for movie guns. The 1872 Colt conversion was featured in Tom Selleck’s holsters in Last Stand at Sable River and Crossfire Trail (with the 1876 Centennial Musket I already own), also in Horizon on Kevin Costner’s belt.

I love those guys and Clint Eastwood for their use of the less conventional cowboy movie guns in their films.
