It's actually a pretty apt Venn diagram. . .the Robot Apocalypse won't be nearly so dramatic as The Terminator; the navigation aids on our phones will simply tell us to turn left off the edge of a cliff.

Pretty much! That's where "The Matrix", AKA AI comes in.

Perfect meme

Of the three, I fear the idiocracy far more than the machines.

I mean people actually think a politician will help them.

We lost.

One begat the other. One enables the other. One promulgates the other. It all boils down to "the machine", but it takes idiots to buy into it in the first place.

Bingo

But seriously, it is their post midterm agenda. They really really mean it this time, but you have to vote for them to see it happen.

And it’s better than what would have happened if the other team had the ball.

If the senate needs 60 votes there will be absolutely zero legislation. Reps will never let go of the 60 vote rule.

Nor will the senate ever be in recess else Trump would fill the vacant cabinet positions with recess appointments.

He was allowed to win as long as nothing could be accomplished and the $40trillion debt collapse happens on a Rep watch

I think Dems will eliminate the filibuster as soon as they have a single vote majority that means January 2027. By mid 2029 this country will unrecognizable from today

Been hearing that ever since 1993 when I first started paying attention.

I’ve lived over half a century. I work for Big Brother. I’ve never even registered to vote or voted in my life.

Yes. I have an opinion. I just don’t talk about it. 😉

The irony of it is, you're in TX and don't vote, and I'm in CA and do. . .and NEITHER of us manages to have any bearing on the state of affairs.

One of my other forums has a "bashing head against brick wall" emoji for posts like this.
